What I Believe

The framework behind everything I make

Your value is already set by God. The identities the world sells you (through culture, ideology, and commerce) are traps designed to keep you anxious and dependent. Peace comes from accepting your worth as established, not constantly trying to prove it.

The Core Tension

Here's the thing nobody will tell you: Your worth is already set by God. AND you're still responsible for what you do with what you've been given.

That tension is real. It's not soft. It's not hard. It's just true.

Most people want you to pick a side. Hustle culture says your worth comes from achievement. Victim culture says your circumstances define you. Both are selling you an identity. Both are wrong.

The Achievement Trap

Success feels empty because you were never designed to find ultimate meaning in accomplishment. The treadmill has no finish line. Every achievement just raises the bar. You can't win a game that's rigged to keep you playing.

The Comparison Spiral

You're measuring yourself against a fictional timeline that was never real. The "life script" you inherited assumes a world that no longer exists. Everyone feels behind because everyone is comparing their messy real life to curated highlight reels.

The Identity Question

Whatever you identify with eventually becomes your God. And that's a mean God. Career, relationship status, body, bank account—these are terrible foundations for your identity. They shift. They fail. They demand constant maintenance. You need an anchor that doesn't move.

"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."
— Ephesians 2:10, ESV

The Frustration Equation

Frustration = Expectation - Reality

This explains why people are suffering. They were sold expectations that don't match reality. The gap between what you thought life would look like and what it actually looks like—that's where the pain lives.

I'm not here to lower your standards. I'm here to expose the false expectations and realign them with what's actually true.

What I'm Not vs. What I Am

I'm Not

  • The hustle-culture success guy
  • The "you're perfect" validation machine
  • The "everything is trauma" narrator
  • A try-hard youth pastor
  • A political commentator

I Am

  • A dad who has seen some things
  • Wise but not preachy
  • Direct but not harsh
  • Grounded in something real
  • Known for wisdom and humor

Who This Is For

I make content for early adults (primarily 18 to 24) who feel behind in life, who struggle with comparison, who sense that the achievement ladder isn't leading where they hoped.

It's for anyone who's done what they were supposed to do and still feels empty. Anyone wondering if there's more to life than the success script they've been handed.

I'm not selling you another ladder to climb. I'm saying the truth nobody else will: The world isn't fair. That's fine. Your value is already set. Now go do something with it.
